David Thompson is a multi award winning cameraman who began his cinematography career shooting White Water Rafting adventures for Raging Thunder in Cairns Australia. It was during this time that he gained a keen interest in all facets of video camera-work and production techniques.

In 1994 he began his career in Network Television News gathering and editing. During this time David gained extensive experience in local and international news gathering and the ability to meet tight deadlines with high quality production values. He met many challenges during this time including covering Cyclones, Tidal Wave disasters, US Presidential visits and international sporting events to name a few.
